Genesis 5
I'm not really good in names and my gesh!! there are so many names mentioned in this Chapter..
To sum it all up, it talks about generations to generations from Adam to Noah.. It's pretty amazing
because their lifespan is upto 900+ years.. WOW! That's a record (LOL)
Well, that's it.. Nothing much, quite bored in this Chapter. haha.

Cain and Abel
LOL!! I remember the time we talked on the phone with Ree, He asked me questions about the stories in the Bible, and it so happened that he asked me who died: Cain or Abel.. haha. my geshh!! My guess was wrong.. Anyway, NOW I KNOW after reading the chapter.
Cain was the first son of Adam and Eve, followed by Abel. Abel takes care of the sheep while Cain works on the farm. One day, they gave their outputs as an offering to the Lord. Cain brought fruits and Abel brought fat portions of the firstborn flock something.. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offfering, and so Cain envied. So that's it,, because of jealousy and anger Cain killed Abel.. And the Lord punished Cain for what He did, like if Cain works on the ground there will be nothing to harvest.. and it was also mentioned that whoever kills Cain for killing his brother will suffer 7 times over.
hhmm and there were lots of people mentioned, I have no idea who they are (lol)..
Basta, Cain and his wife gave birth to ENOCH.. Adam and Eve gave birth to Seth and Seth had a son named Enosh.. :)) lol (shortcut)

The Fall of Man
In Genesis Chapter 3, it talks about the First Sin of man.
It so happened that a serpent (snake) tricked Eve in the Tree of knowledge of good and evil to eat the fruit which was forbidden.
Eve ate the fruit because the snake said that if she eats it she will know the difference between right and wrong just as God does.. and she also shared it to Adam..
Later on, it became windy and both of them realized they were both naked.. God questioned them why they were knew they were naked and what happened.. And of course, GOd knows everything.
So yeah, He said something to the snake like "you will be the only animal to suffer this curse - you will crawl on your stomach and eat dirt. You and this woman will hate each other; your descendants and hers will always be enemies." something..
and the Lord said to the woman (Eve) that she will suffer in giving birth and that the husband will rule over her.. and lastly, God told the man (Adam) that he will have to struggle to grow enough food. He will sweat in earning a living and since he was made out of soil he will also once again turn into soil.
"The man Adam named his wife Eve because she would become the mother of all who live" Genesis 3:20
I just realized "karon paman diay g.nganlan ang woman ug Eve and c Adam ang nag ngalan niya".. hehehe. :)
After that, GOd sent them out of the garden of Eden to work the ground from which the man had been made..

Adam and Eve
"The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being..." Genesis 2:7
Eden was a garden in the East, and there He put the man he created to work and to take care of it. In Eden God created different kinds of plants.. And oh! in the middle of the garden there was this so called the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It was wierd because there were 4 headwaters (I had no idea about this) the Pishon where there is gold, the Gihon, the Tigris and the Euphrates..
Well, God commanded Adam that he is free from eating anything in Eden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil for he will surely die. Since God noticed that it is not good for the man to be alone, He then made EVE out of Adam's rib while Adam was asleep.. and that was it. :)
"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they will become one flesh." Genesis 2:24

The beginning...
I would love to read from the very beginning of the Bible, because I guess I wouldn't know the whole story if I don't. (duuuh) Well the first book in the Bible is GENESIS and it reminds me of the Fiest in our church this year. :) haha. I was telling a story to the children, the story of the beginning of the world which was very *epic fail*.. I taught them the wrong message of the Bible, it was such an experience that I promise won't ever happen again...
Anyway, I'll just make a brief summary of GENESIS 1
1st Day - God created the heavens and earth. He called light "day" and darkness "night".. so yeah, there was DAY and there was NIGHT..
2nd Day - God made the "SKY"
3rd Day - God made the "LANDS" and "SEAS".. There were also plants that time..
4th Day - God created the SUN, MOON and STARS
5th Day- God created creatures in the sky and in the waters. Like birds and fishes and stuffs. :))
6th Day- He created the animals in land.. As well as the MAN AND WOMAN..-Adam and Eve.. He even told them to be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it.
7th Day- God rested..
And that was the Beginning of everything..
How great and awesome our God is right?? For everything in this world was made by HIM, in His own image and likeness... \m/ yeahh... He so rocks!! :)) Each and everyone of us are beautiful, because obviously, HE CREATED US.. :)
